Radon Mitigation Systems Photo Album: Fan Replacement, Raleigh

Our client contacted us after noticing a loud noise coming from the fan on her existing radon mitigation system. After evaluating the system, Michael determined the fan needed to be replaced and identified a few opportunities to improve the system’s overall performance, as older systems don’t always meet current best practices. During the fan replacement, we discovered the cause of the noise - unfortunately, a bird had entered the discharge pipe and become caught in the fan. To prevent this, all of our systems include a critter guard at the top of the pipe to keep animals out.   With the new fan installed and improvements made, the system is now operating quietly and effectively again.
